Fender's SRV Stratocaster is a finely crafted version of Stevie Ray Vaughan's favorite guitar - the famous "Number One" Strat with which he electrified listeners everywhere & seared scorching Texas blues into the top of the charts. For pure SRV tone and style that evokes one of the Stratocaster's most revered masters, this is the "one."
This guitar is used, but not abused, with typical light play wear - various surface scratches; a few minor nicks & dings. We are selling this guitar for one of our regular customers, who has a great guitar collection, and takes very good care of his instruments. We have tried to picture some of the minor scratches and nicks, etc. in the photos shown here.
Early ’60s oval profile maple neck with Pau ferro fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Jumbo frets are in great shape with very little wear. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Contoured, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Reverse vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & gold hardware. 3-ply black pickguard with SRV engraving.
3 Texas Special single coils with staggered poles. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
