First built for the late Bill Emerson in late 1989 and moving into the production catalog in 1990, the Stelling Red Fox quickly became one of Stelling’s most popular models. Sporting a gloss finish with red stained, highly flamed Maple, and with Abalone inlays of leaves and a Red Fox, this is a very attractive and great sounding instrument.
We are selling this banjo for one of our customers. It originally came from this store in 2003 It has been extremely well cared for, and only has a few very fine scratches on the back of the body. The condition is near mint. It has been upgraded to Scruggs tuners, but the original tuners come with the banjo. Railroad spikes have also been installed. Very loud banjo, with a new head installed. Comes with original Stelling Hard Shell Case. Great Find!
