Germino Amplification

It is my goal to make available the best sounding, most reliable "plexi" inspired amplifiers using the finest components and with unparalleled workmanship. My amplifiers should satisfy the most discriminating players and give them the sonic attributes of the classic tones from the 60's and 70's.

Each amp is hand built by myself with full attention to every detail during construction. I offer a transferable limited lifetime warranty on each amp that covers parts and labor. Certain components do have a limited lifespan such as electrolytic capacitors which I cover for 15 years from build date. Tubes are covered for 90 days from original purchase only. All other components are fully guaranteed for unlimited time under normal use. I cannot cover abuse, neglect, accidents or user error.

All tracks were recorded at my home using a laptop and Pro Tools Digidesign 002. Mic’s were a 57(panned left) and royer 121(panned right.) Some reverb was added in mix down and some light mastering was applied to bring all the clips to a similar level. No EQ or extra compression was used.

Where possible I tried to play for a few seconds before engaging the effect pedal (or pedals.)

Guitars were a mid 90’s Gibson Les Paul with Seymour Duncan Antiquities into the Club 40 into a 2x12 Germino cab with 25w reissue greenbacks. The strat was a stock ’71 Fender into the Club 40 into an old ‘62 Fender 2x12 cab with Weber Blue Dogs wired for 4 ohms. Although,strat tracks 5 and 6 used the Germino cab. Pedals went straight into the front end of the amp.
