Following closely in the footsteps of the standard Lead 55, the LV model uses a different power transformer from Heyboer which is wound to give lower voltages in the output stage. With GZ-34 rectifier output stage voltages are around 420vdc. The Lead 55LV employs the same tone control values as the standard Lead 55 along with a split cathode arrangement on the first preamp tube. Filtering is slightly reduced in the LV using 50uf. in the output stage and 32uf. in the other stages of the amplifier. Even with a tube rectifier a very tight amp with excellent pick attack. At 50 watts output  this is a very gigable amp in small to medium sized rooms. Takes pedals extremely well.
